High cpu with vCenter 7.0c Appliance

High cpu with vCenter 7.0c Appliance

After installing vcenter 7.0c appliance, I noticed high cpu being used with the VM.

Apparently, there is some sort of issue with “workload control plane” service. The bug is being still worked on per vmware forum at https://communities.vmware.com/thread/640569

To workaround till the patch, go to vcenter appliance management (ie https://vcenter:5480), click services and stop workload control plane”. This will be in effect till reboot though.

UPDATE: https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/7.0/rn/vsphere-vcenter-server-700d-release-notes.html

which seems to be resolved within the update per  release notes above.
